Today on Wedding Wonderland you can find a wedding inspiration shooting that I designed with a very special team.
For this event I wanted to recreate the transition between winter and spring, between white and full colors, tea for guests and gorgeous flowers.
An off-season wedding, this is what Weddings And Dreams realized for this shooting.
We wanted to recreate the transition between winter and spring and we took winter’s element and spring’s element and merged them together. From the tea table to warm up the atmosphere, to vivid colours of spring to joyfully celebrate the event.
We start with a stationery set realized by Sweet Memories, gentle and delicate, that sets the colours’ palette and the mood of the event.
In the graceful atmosphere of Villa Frua, in Stresa, we created a unique and colourful wedding event.
The bride wears a wonderful dress, named Cous Cous and realized by AcQuaChiara. The dress is fun, cheerful yet elegant. The shoes from Penrose provide a glamorous touch to the outfit and the bouquet from FlorPassion brings in the joy of spring. Stefania Visentin Hair&MakeUp’s staff decided for neutral colours for the hairs and makeup; these colours highlight the beauty of the bride and a sophisticated and cheerful hairstyle enhances the final result.
Our bride is glamorous, sophisticated, and elegant but funny and joyful at the same time; a perfect combination and transition between winter and spring.
The groom sports elegant grey tones where the boutonniere’s colours stands out, making a perfect match with the bride.
Guests can find their seat thanks to the escort cards, distinguished by keys and keyholes: the opening of a new season with blossoming love. Colours are, again, in the spotlight.
Mise en place is simple yet peculiar; we wanted to highlight the natural wood of the table in contrast with the bright white of the plates. We created a distinguishing centrepiece with tulips, narcissus, buttercups and roses. A precious satin napkin is folded to hold the menu and is enriched with a flower. Thanks to Villa Frua’s antique furniture and the tableware from Madame Delice we successfully created a very unique table.
We are transitioning from winter to spring, there is a wonderful weather but a little bit of winter’s cold is still with us: nothing better than a good Dammann Frères’s cup of tea and some delicious Italian pastries can warm up our guests. Here we can find, together with a broad selection of tea flavours, a good assortment of typical Italian biscuits and soft blueberry muffins.
The wonderful wedding cake by Nana&Nana Cakes is adorned with fresh and colourful flower. It’s like looking at the flowers blossoming from the snow: the rebirth of the Spring is taking place.
We bid our guests farewell with a unique favour: a “bottle of love”, full of candies, chocolate hearts and the traditional five sugared almonds.
The photos from Matrimoni All’Italiana captured all the uniqueness and peculiarity of this set-up creating magic pictures and allowing the great job of the whole staff, coordinated by Weddings and Dreams, to stand out.
